Seven decades of education in Podgorica.
Primary School “Milorad Musa Burzan” in Podgorica was founded in 1950 and has more than seven decades of educational work and tradition behind it. Over the years, many generations of students hve passed through its classrooms, making the school an important part of Podgorica’s educational tradition.
The school strives to provide students with a high-quality and stimulating environment for learning and for developing their knowledge, skills, creativity, and individual potential. In addition to regular classes, extracurricular activities, clubs, competitions, workshops, projects, and other activities play an important role in school life, giving students opportunities to develop their interests and abilities.
Special attention is given to cooperation between students, teachers, and parents, as an important part of successful education and the development of a positive school community.
While preserving its long-standing tradition, Primary School “Milorad Musa Burzan” also keeps pace with modern educational trends and continuously strives to improve teaching and school life. The school’s goal is not only to provide knowledge, but also to create an environment in which students can explore, create, collaborate, and grow.

Teaching began in a building that was still unfinished, under the name “Second Eight-Year School”.
1959.
The name was officially adopted on 19 December 1959.
2010/11.
It took over the premises previously used by OŠ “Boro Ćetković”.
